Collaboration at the chair

If you are interested in joining our team, are interested in a doctorate and would like to work on projects, you are welcome to send us an unsolicited application. Ideally, you should have experience in interdisciplinary collaboration or have already worked on projects. You should be committed, curious, responsible, a team player and enjoy working independently.
We enable you to conduct self-determined research with great flexibility in terms of time, in particular the rapid completion of a dissertation and other publications. We value a friendly, stimulating and supportive environment with extensive opportunities for personal and professional development and supervision, which will prepare you for future careers. Contacts in a variety of institutions and stays abroad are supported.

Dr. Julia Hoffmann, doctoral candidate of Prof. Spiecker and former employee at the chair, gave an interview on the occasion of her dissertation being awarded the Baker-McKenzie Prize (2023), in which she provides insights into the development process of her dissertation and shares her experiences.
